Walking Therapy

“So, after work, I wandered from the mayhem of Oxford Street and down to St. James’s Park, where I sat by the lake for a while with the geese and the crazy underwater ducks and the leaves crunchy underfoot and the baby squirrels running around foraging for nuts, criss-crossing in front of my feet. I walked over the little park bridge and through to Westminster Abbey, which is probably my second favourite piece of architecture in London; it’s so intricate and awe-inspiring and self-important and insistently British – if walls had ears, Westminster’s have definitely heard some of the more interesting secrets in history.”
