The All-Conquering Ladies of Arsenal
By securing the Premier League title, The UEFA Cup, the League Cup and the FA Cup they have powered their way to an unprecedented quadruple. This included a “perfect” domestic league season in which they won every game, home and away, racking up 119 goals in 22 games (conceding only 10), culminating in a 6-0 thrashing of Leeds. Islington council have responded by giving them the freedom of the Borough which historically, and bizarrely, allows them to drive their sheep over the Borough’s common land and get free coffee from one of the area’s many cafes (ironically owned by a Spurs fan).
